Staten Island HS football: Farrell blitzes Chaminade, 34-3, to earn spot in CHSFL AAA championship game

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The bye week did nothing to slow down the juggernaut known as Monsignor Farrell’s football team.

Seniors Kevin Gumb and Alex Ustun finished with two touchdowns apiece and Farrell’s defense was once again ferocious as the Lions advanced to the CHSFL AAA championship game via a 34-3 semifinal thumping of visiting Chaminade Friday in Oakwood.
