“Sort of. I feel sort of redeemed,” Camden coach Rob Hinson said. “It feels really good to get this one, but we’ve still got a state championship to play for.”
There are only four teams in the state still in contention for it. Camden earned its place among them with a 43-7 thrashing of Wall in the Central Jersey Group 2 title game at Lew Katz Field in Camden.
It didn’t erase the memory of a loss to Point Pleasant Boro in last year’s title game, but it certainly made it easier to live with. Camden will face South Jersey champ Haddonfield next weekend in a state semifinal
