Kothagudem district police organised an outreach programme in Cherla mandal villages bordering Chhattisgarh, engaging with 250 adivasi families from six Maoist-affected villages. Senior police officials, along with CRPF officers, distributed essential commodities provided by Nestlé India.

Kothagudem: The district police organised on Saturday an outreach programme for adivasis of Bakkachinthalapadu, Kishtarampadu, Veerapuram, Rallapuram, Thimmirigudem, Kamalapuram in Cherla mandal bordering Chhattisgarh.

Additional SP (Operations) G Narender, Bhadrachalam ASP Vikrant Kumar Singh, CRPF 141Bn Assistant Commandant Vivek Ranjan, Cherla CI Raju Verma, SI Narsi Reddy, Kesava along with other police officers and staff interacted with 250 families of the six Maoist-affected villages .
