As we approach the 250th anniversary of the founding of this great country, we really are in serious danger of losing our country and way of life. Throughout most of our history we have been a people generally united in our basic beliefs, who loved our country and were willing to sacrifice to preserve what we had while striving to make it better. Now we are facing so much division and hatred of people we disagree with that we are in danger of losing it all.

Our country’s founders were generally Christian, and our founding principles are generally consistent with a Christian view of the world. Our Declaration of Independence clearly says: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that am
