FARGO — When Fargo North girls swim and dive coach Talia Butery tells her athletes, “Let’s do six or seven laps,” she can already hear the response before she finishes the sentence.
“Immediately they yell, ‘6-7!’” Butery said, laughing. “I can’t even escape it. If it’s 67 degrees outside or a football score ends 6-7, they’re all over it.”
That’s because 6-7 isn’t about math. It’s the latest viral phrase sweeping classrooms, TikTok feeds and locker rooms across the country.
