Iwould like to grow several indoor plants this winter. Could you make some suggestions about choosing plants that are relatively easy to grow? I travel quite a bit in my work but am seldom gone for more than a week.
Unless plants are in a bright sunny window, almost all indoor plants will go a week or more between waterings. Even cactus and succulents, which need bright light, also need infrequent watering. You should probably avoid hobby plants like African violets, which need more frequent attention.
If you close your window shades when you are gone, you will need to stick primarily to plants which tolerate low light. The plants listed below are all tolerant of relatively low light conditions
One plant I would recommend for those who haven’t grown a lot of indoor plants is Pothos or D
