Week 12 of the 2025 college football season brings us a huge Saturday night SEC battle between the Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs.

The Longhorns come into Saturday night on a four-game winning streak and 7-2 on the season. Two of those wins, though, have come in overtime.

The Bulldogs are on a five-game winning streak after suffering their only loss of the season against Alabama in September. They have been living on the edge also, as they have needed comebacks in four of their SEC wins this season.

Georgia vs Texas prediction, pick:

Texas has struggled on offense this year, but its defense has been stout. The Bulldogs have struggled on defense at times, but their offense has picked them up. Something will have to give in this game. Both teams have also found ways to win over the last month and need to keep winning to strengthen their CFP resume. The Longhorns have the defense to shut down the Bulldogs' offense and are going to score just enough to get the upset win.

Prediction: Texas 22, Georgia 17

Best Bet: Texas +6.5, Under 49.5
