MIDDLETOWN - In his team’s postgame huddle, Appoquinimink football coach Brian Timpson referred to the two defensive players Devon Flowers ran through and the four tackles he broke on a screen pass from Desai Drummond.

That added up to six, and so did the 54-yard, tie-breaking touchdown Flowers scored with 7:48 left on Nov. 14 at Jaguar Stadium.
