The Dallas Mavericks fought back from multiple leads to put up a fight against the Los Angeles Clippers. But they were out of gas in the second overtime. The Clippers snapped their six-game losing streak on the back of James Harden’s extravagant 41-point triple-double performance. Still, there were some positives to take for the Mavericks.

Notably, Cooper Flagg has started to gain some confidence. He made the bucket that eventually forced a second overtime. But his staggering improvement is the result of his being back in his natural position, where he has thrived all his career. Flagg scored 16, making eight of his 13 shots. And he’s feeling better after some of his earlier duties were rightly delegated.
