Any hope of a College Football Playoff appearance for the Louisville Cardinals has evaporated over the past two weeks with losses to the California Bears and Clemson Tigers.

Louisville held a 19-13 lead over Clemson in the fourth quarter on Friday, Nov. 14 night before eventually falling 20-19 in an upset that handed the Cardinals their third loss on the season. The story of the game for the Cardinals were the unforced errors as the team was called for seven penalties in the fourth quarter alone.
