The last time the Saskatchewan Roughriders were in the Grey Cup, longsnapper Jorgen Hus was trying to crack an NFL roster.

“I definitely watched it and I had some buddies playing on the team. I was obviously cheering them on and being from the province, I was pulling for them,” he said.

The Saskatoon product addressed the media on Friday before his Grey Cup debut.

“Finally,” Hus said. “It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been dreaming about this day, obviously, since I was a little kid and started playing football.”
