A day after the RJD suffered a crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, Lalu Prasad’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, sent shockwaves through the state’s political landscape by announcing her departure from politics and severing ties with her family.

In a cryptic post on X, she wrote, “I am quitting politics and severing ties with my family. This is exactly what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez told me. I am taking full responsibility.”
