PLUMMER, Idaho — UPDATE: Idaho State Police said it has located the vehicle that was involved in the hit-and-run, and further stated that the investigation is ongoing.

Idaho State Police (ISP) has identified the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a female pedestrian in Plummer.

Investigators determined that the suspect vehicle is a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado LT with a Washington license plate number D71892H, registered to a Spokane address. Police have not confirmed whether the registered owner was driving at the time of the crash.

The collision occurred at approximately 5 p.m., Nov. 14, on northbound U.S. Highway 95 at D Street. Witnesses reported a pickup truck, possibly silver or tan, struck the woman in the roadway and fled the scene without stopping. The veh
