A day after foods like coffee, beef and bananas were declared exempt from his country-by-country tariffs , one large tariff issued by President Trump looms for Italian pasta makers.

The threat of a potential 107% pasta tariff started with the U.S. Commerce Department launching what it says was a routine antidumping review, based on allegations Italian pasta makers sold product into the US at below-market prices and undercut local competitors. Now the Commerce Department is considering levying an additional 92% in duties, which would come on top of the 15% tariff President Donald Trump's administration imposed on European exports generally.
