The American mother of a young baby who died after being left in a hot car has been charged with second degree murder.
Nyla Simmons, 22, allegedly left her baby in the car outside a Georgia car dealership where she worked in October. Her baby, named in an online obituary as Novanni Truvan Simmons, was rushed to hospital in Albany where the child was pronounced dead.
The tot had been born in March, meaning the infant was just seven months old. Ms Simmons was arrested on November 3 and charged with second degree murder and second degree cruelty to children.
