Bengaluru: In a recent Facebook post, Actor Kishore Kumar Huli leveled strong accusations against India's election process and the Election Commissioner, specifically referencing the amended law for the Commissioner's selection.
Huli began his post with a strong metaphor, stating, "Every valid voter deleted from the voter list, every vote stolen is equal to murder of a citizen in terms of democracy."
The post directly criticised the appointment process of the Election Commissioner, which he claimed was "born through the seeds of corruption." Huli's criticism pointed to the "urgent amendment to the law" that removed the Chief Justice of India (CJI) from the selection panel.
He described democracy in India as a "joke... with unaccountable jokers" in high office.
