A mid-air emergency on board a flight bound for Edinburgh was declared on Friday. ‌

Flight EZY3242 from Paris Charles de Gaulle to the Scottish capital set off after 5pm and landed in Edinburgh just before 6.30pm on November 14. ‌

According to flight tracking website FlightRadar24, the pilot squawked a 7700 code while in the descent phase of the journey - signalling a general emergency onboard. ‌

The aircraft was met by paramedics due to a passenger seeking medical assistance.
