Michael Cavanaugh, hand-picked by Billy Joel as the pianist/lead vocalist in the Broadway musical “Movin’ Out,” performs “Movin’ Out With Michael Cavanaugh — The Music of Billy Joel and Elton John,” 7 p.m. Tuesday in Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway. Cavanaugh appeared in more than 1,200 performances of “Movin’ Out” over three years; the show drew 2003 Grammy and Tony award nominations. “Movin’ Out With Michael Cavanaugh” is part of the UCA Public Appearances series.
