CINCINNATI —

A Cincinnati tradition has returned for the holidays.

The city's massive Christmas tree, which has been a downtown winter staple since 1913, has returned once again to Fountain Square. Advertisement

The tree arrived on Saturday and is expected to stay there until after the holidays. This year's tree is 52 feet tall and was transported to the Square from Traverse City, Michigan.

However, the tree is still expected to take another two weeks to fully set up, with the lighting ceremony set for Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Black Friday.

Those who cannot make it out to the Square to view the lighting ceremony in person this year will be able to view it on WLWT, which is once again serving as the official broadcast partner of the tree lighting ceremony.
