Srinagar, Nov 15: On the directions of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for Health and Medical Education Sakeena Itoo, on Saturday evening, visited Ujala Cygnus Hospital at Nowgam here to enquire about the well-being of the injured persons of the Nowgam Police Station blast and also assess medical treatment and care being extended to them.

During the visit, Minister Itoo interacted with the attending doctors to gather first-hand assessment of the medical care being extended to the persons injured in the Nowgam Police Station blast.

She asked the doctors and medical staff to provide the best treatment to the injured persons and also take consultations from other established government medical institutions like Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) and SMHS Hospital
