The Russian Foreign Ministry on Saturday said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a telephone call to discuss the situation in West Asia.

“President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Israel @netanyahu had a telephone conversation," the ministry said in a social media post.

“There was an exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East in light of the agreement on ceasefire and the exchange of detained persons," the ministry added.
