SALT LAKE CITY — Two juveniles are in the hospital after being struck by a car in Riverton Friday.

Officer Shaun Becker with the South Jordan Police Department said the incident occurred in the area of 11800 S. 4000 W.

According Becker, the two juveniles were riding on an electric motorcycle while a female driver was making a right turn at a red light. As she was turning, the female driver hit the two juveniles.

Following this the juveniles were transported to Primary Children’s Hospital with moderate injures, according to Becker.

The female driver remained on the scene as is cooperating with police.
