The Los Angeles Chargers today elevated running back Amar Johnson and running back Trayveon Williams from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

Johnson , a rookie from South Dakota State, appeared in the team's Week 9 victory at Tennessee. He played four seasons with the Jackrabbits (2021-24), seeing action in 56 career games. Johnson finished his career with 3,194 rushing yards, ranking eighth in program history. He added 28 rushing touchdowns on 537 attempts (5.9 avg.) and hauled in 57 passes for 518 yards (9.1 avg.) and two touchdowns. Johnson was a two-time first-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference recipient (2023-24), setting a career high with 1,222 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024.
