In just the team’s second-ever state championship game, Westside Christian left Liberty High School on Saturday afternoon with its first Class 3A/2A/1A boys soccer state title.

Westside Christian, led by a 77th-minute goal by Connor Olivier, were able to get by reigning champions Catlin Gabel 2-1 for the crown.

After a scoreless first half, Westside Christian was the first team on the scoreboard.
