NORMAL — The NCOE Fighting Cardinals completed the 2025 volleyball season in style Saturday, defeating Tremont in three sets (25-23, 20-25, 25-27) in the Class 1A state tournament third-place game.

Although it wasn’t the state championship contest the team had hoped to be playing, NCOE’s six seniors wrapped up their prep careers doing something they had done 152 other times — winning a match.
