Attorney General Pam Bondi announced early Saturday that the Justice Department (DOJ) captured a suspect who entered acting U.S. Attorney Alina Habba’s New Jersey office earlier this week in an attempt to “confront” her.
No injuries were reported following the Wednesday incident, but property was destroyed before the suspect fled the scene, according to Bondi . The attorney general credited the FBI and U.S. Marshals, as well as Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) for the arrest.
“No one will get away with threatening or intimidating our great US Attorneys or the destruction of their offices,” she wrote on social platform
