Alt-country singer and songwriter dies at 59, weeks after being denied hospital stay

Known for his storytelling and folk-country style, beloved singer-songwriter Todd Snider has died. He was 59.

Snider’s team announced his death Saturday, Nov. 15, on Instagram, writing, “Aimless Inc. Headquarters is heartbroken to share that our Founder, our Folk Hero, our Poet of the World, the Vice President of the Abrupt Change Dept., the Storyteller, our beloved Todd Daniel Snider has departed this world.”

The statement ended with, “We love you Todd, sail on old friend, we’ll see you again out there on the road somewhere down the line. You’ll always be a force of nature,” according to PennLive.com .
