LAPLACE, La. —
A LaPlace man has been arrested for allegedly posting threats on his social media account.
Michael Bovie, 35, of LaPlace, was arrested on Wednesday. Advertisement
On Friday, Nov. 7, deputies received information about videos that were being posted on social media containing threats to harm law enforcement officials and the public.
Following the investigation, detectives identified Bovie as the suspect, and he was arrested on Nov. 12.
Bovie is being held on a $25,000 bond.
