ELLSWORTH -- On the Friday night, the city of Ellsworth shared with ABC7/Fox22 the recount results and confirmed the election of Patrick Shea, Carol Patterson-Martineau, and Marinna Smith to the three open seats on the Ellsworth City Council.

The numbers on the graphic above show the total number of votes counted on November 4th and for the recount that took place on November 14th.

Ellsworth City Manager Charles Pearce told our Alex Schley on Friday that it was candidate John Linnehan who requested a recount after the first results showed him finishing in fourth by only three votes. The unofficial results show Linnehan, by only two votes, finished fourth in the recount.
