ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Hundreds of people gathered Saturday morning at Piedmont Park for the “Hope in Every Step” walk, an event supporting the Multi-Agency Alliance for Children and Georgia youth affected by foster care.

The walk began at 8 a.m. and featured a two-mile route through the park. Atlanta News First’s Cyreia Sandlin served as emcee for the event.

The Multi-Agency Alliance for Children brings different agencies and resources together to provide comprehensive support and ensure teens and young adults ages 14 through 26 who have been in the foster care system don’t slip through the cracks.
