Landry Shamet reacts after scoring during the Knicks' Nov. 14 game against the Heat. Jason Szenes for the NY Post
Landry Shamet was unsigned and unsure of where he was going to end up.
In his heart, though, there was a clear preference.
“This is where I wanted to be,” Shamet told The Post. “With the year we had last year, this group of guys, this locker room, this city, these fans, all of it, I only wanted to be here, to be honest. I’m glad it worked out.”
That was despite a first season with the Knicks spent largely on the periphery.
