The Delhi Police have registered two separate FIRs against Haryana’s Al-Falah University, which is under scrutiny for alleged terror links, in connection with forgery and cheating after concerns were raised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The Delhi Police Crime Branch registered the cases over alleged false accreditation claims made by the university. Officials said the action was initiated after both the UGC and NAAC flagged “major irregularities" during their review of the institution’s functioning amid a terror probe related to the November 10 blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that killed 13 people.
