CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — Support was loud on Saturday for the Abington Heights Comets in Lackawanna County .
Fans sent off the team to the state championship game yesterday and headed to Tully's in South Abington Township near Clarks Summit this afternoon to watch the game.
Ken Steenback, from South Abington Township, said, "Just trying to encourage the community and get everyone interested in soccer. There's a lot of passion here for this team. They've had an incredible, wonderful year and just it's great to get everyone together and have the community."
Abbington Heights won the game against Conrad Weiser 2-0 to secure their first-ever state title.
