SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (WOWT) - No. 12 Creighton wrapped up an undefeated BIG EAST volleyball season Saturday with a dominant 3-0 sweep of Seton Hall, securing the program’s 12th straight regular-season conference title.
The Bluejays (23-5, 16-0 BIG EAST) extended their league-record winning streak to 47 consecutive regular-season BIG EAST matches. They dropped only four sets throughout conference play.
Set scores in the win over the Pirates were 25-14, 25-13 and 25-13.
Creighton hit a program-record .551 for the match, piling up 41 kills with just three errors on 69 swings. The Bluejays also finished with 14 aces—one shy of the school record—and set a new single-season team mark for service aces.
