CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Panthers came up short against the Bison in Fargo on Saturday.
Northern Iowa fell behind early and trailed the entire day as they were handed their eighth loss of the season on Saturday. The halftime score was 31-2 thanks to a Caleb Frazier safety, but Northern Iowa could not climb out of the hole, falling 48-16 to North Dakota State.
UNI Quarterback Jaxon Dailey completed 9 of 23 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown, but also threw a pair of interceptions. Meanwhile, Harrison Bey-Buie and Bill Jackson led the rushing attack, racking up 62 and 41 yards, respectively.
Northern Iowa’s next and final game will be played against Youngstown State in the dome on Saturday, November 22nd. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM.
