Four people were killed and five others were rescued after a boat allegedly carrying undocumented immigrants capsized near a San Diego beach Friday night, the U.S. Coast Guard said. Around 11:40 p.m. local time, the Coast Guard said it received information from Imperial Beach Border Patrol of a capsized panga-style vessel in the surf near Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach. Six of the passengers were found on the beach, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, the Coast Guard said. About two hours later, a bystander reported a person in the water near Imperial Beach Pier, the Coast Guard said.
