BALTIMORE -- Two more new coaches will be joining the Orioles’ staff for the 2026 season, one of whom has been a prominent name in baseball for nearly three decades.

Baltimore is set to hire Miguel Cairo as Major League infield coach, as well as Joe Singley as field coordinator/Major League catching coach, according to a source. The club has not confirmed or announced the moves.

With first-year manager Craig Albernaz now at the helm , the O’s staff is taking shape, as sources previously told MLB.com that Donnie Ecker will be the bench coach , Dustin Lind will be the hitting coach , Jason Bourgeois will be the first-base coach and Drew French, Buck Britton, Mitch Plassmeyer and Ryan Klimek will each be returning , though titles for those four have not yet been reported.
