SUNRISE, Fla. -- Jack Finley broke a tie in the third period with his first NHL goal, helping the Tampa Bay Lightning defeat the Florida Panthers 3-1 at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday.

Emil Lilleberg and Zemgus Girgensons also scored for the Lightning (9-6-2), who have won eight of their past 10. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 23 saves.

Brad Marchand scored to extend his personal point streak to 10 games for the Panthers (9-8-1), who had won two in a row. Sergei Bobrovsky made 17 saves.

It was the first regular-season matchup between the teams since Florida defeated Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference First Round last season, winning the best-of-7 series in five games.

Lilleberg gave the Lightning a 1-0 lead at 12:19 of the first period. Nikita Kucherov fed him in the left face-off
