Three aspiring Perth models will be looking to catch the eye of casting agents and mingle with fashion royalty in their first venture to the iconic New York Fashion Week later this week.

Students Ava Bennett, 16, Isabelle Dalglish, 17, and Natasha Mantle, 17, are considered babies of the fashion industry, but that hasn’t stopped them from dreaming big ahead of their “once in a lifetime opportunity” on the Manhattan runway.

The trio, who hail from Dianella, Bennett Springs and Como respectively, are set to model for Melbourne-based label House of Jaise, and Flying Dress Tasmania.

All three will be representing Mind Your Fashion, a not-for-profit organisation raising awareness for mental health in the creative industries.

As far as they’re aware, the teens will be the only models from WA
