The Pittsburgh Steelers are elevating inside linebacker Mark Robinson from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. It will be Robinson’s second straight game coming up and he will serve as a key special teamer.
Robinson was cut by the New York Jets on October 21. He joined the team after being signed off the New England Patriots’ practice squad.
Robinson played in three games for the Patriots after being elevated from the practice squad, and seemingly would have been promoted to the 53-man roster before the Jets swooped him and grabbed him.
