A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a Nov. 8 incident in which a gun was fired toward a crowd at the Chinese Cultural Plaza.
The Honolulu Police Department said officers with the District 5 Crime Reduction Unit located the 26-year-old man around 10:30 a.m. Friday at his home on Vineyard Boulevard. He was arrested for suspicion of terroristic threatening and reckless endangering.
HPD said the city Department of the Prosecuting Attorney will be seeking charges against the suspect.
Witnesses told police that two men were threatening and harassing people at the Chinese Cultural Plaza when someone approached the pair to tell them to stop. One of the men later fired a round toward a crowd; no injuries were reported.
