HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A housekeeper at Hilton Hawaiian Village filed a lawsuit against the hotel, alleging a colleague sexually assaulted her, and arguing her employer should have done more to protect her.
An official complaint accuses the housekeeper’s male co-worker of cornering her into guest rooms and touching her body without her consent.
The lawsuit said the incidents started in the spring of 2024, about a year after the woman began working at the Hilton, and continued until June 4 of this year.
“We definitely felt for our client and we definitely wanted to support her through the process as she’s trying to go through, for herself recovering and healing and then moving forward,” said Victoria Chang, the woman’s attorney.
Neither the woman nor the alleged perpetrator is named
