GRAND FORKS — UND could point to Arizona State goaltender Connor Hasley as the main reason why the Fighting Hawks lost 4-2 on Saturday night in Ralph Engelstad Arena.

UND outshot Arizona State 41-15 and dominated for large stretches. Hasley stopped everything except two shots from red-hot forward Ben Strinden.

But UND coach Dane Jackson didn't shrug his shoulders after a weekend split with the Sun Devils.

He didn't point to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings, where UND still sits on top, and call it good.

His aspirations for this team are higher.
