RALEIGH, N.C. -- Connor McDavid had two goals and an assist, and Leon Draisaitl had a goal and two assists, including the game-winner just 19 seconds into overtime, for the Edmonton Oilers in a 4-3 win against the Carolina Hurricanes at Lenovo Center on Saturday.
After Draisaitl won the opening face-off in overtime, McDavid skated the length of the ice before leaving a drop pass for the forward, who beat Frederik Andersen blocker side from the high slot.
Jack Roslovic had a goal and an assist, and Stuart Skinner made 33 saves for the Oilers (9-7-4), who have won three of their past four.
Zach Hyman had an assist in his season debut. He hadn't played since he dislocated his right wrist in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final on May 27.
