PASCO, Wash. – City officials have announced lane closures on the Sylvester Street Bridge over U.S. Route 395, scheduled to take place from Monday, November 17, through Friday, November 21.

Lanes will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. City officials warned that these closures may cause traffic delays, "especially during the mid-day and afternoon drive."

The closures will allow crews to work on an “essential geotechnical investigation” that will assist in the design of an upcoming pedestrian overpass bridge.

Officials emphasized the project's importance, stating it will "help connect Pasco neighborhoods in the future."

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area and to exercise caution around work crews.
