Nothing appeared to be right for Southern Miss in their matchup against Texas State on Saturday, a game that quickly deflated the Golden Eagles’ five-game winning streak and saw the Bobcats get a 41-14 win.
Statistically, it was one of the worst appearances for Southern Miss (7-3, 5-1 Sun Belt) this season, allowing 441 yards and turning the ball over three times while forcing no turnovers.
