HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Nebraska-Kearney Lopers fell to the Central Missouri Mules, 38-24 in the final game of the regular season.
UNK got off to a slow start, trailing 24-3 at halftime, before making a push in the second half.
“Both sides just didn’t make the plays when we had our chances,” said coach Ryan Held. “You’re just not going to be able to beat a team like that when you don’t hit your plays. And then they hit you on some, and before you know it, it’s just very overwhelming.”
The Lopers finish the year 6-5, a one-win improvement from the 2024 campaign.
