Olympic's football team didn't win the game, but the Trojans grabbed a piece of history anyway in a 45-13 loss to No. 1 Archbishop Murphy in the first round of the Class 2A tournament on Saturday, Nov. 15.
On the Trojans' final offensive play of the game with a minute to go in the fourth quarter, senior running back Chace Webster ran for an 80-yard touchdown. The score allowed Webster to become the new West Sound single-season rushing leader with 2,436 yards. The former record of 2,401 yards was set by South Kitsap's Ryan Cole in 2001.
