This is a big week for South Dakota high school football and volleyball athletes.

State championship football games will be held in Vermillion and state-qualifying SoDak 16 volleyball matches also are on the agenda.

Also on the agenda is another Watertown Public Opinion/Aberdeen News Athlete of the Week Poll, this one for the week of Nov. 3-9.

This week's poll includes 10 area high school volleyball standouts as candidates.

Now it's your turn to decide the winner. Voting will remain open until midnight on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025.
