Top-seeded Wheeling Central Catholic opened its Class A football playoff run with a 51-8 win over 16th-seeded Tolsia on Saturday in Wheeling.

The Maroon Knights will host No. 8-seed Tucker County next week in the Class A quarterfinals, day and time to be determined. Tucker Countyh defeated No. 9-seed Tug Valley 42-28 in their first-round matchup.
